Anthony is freaking awesome. He is obviously better than the newer Mark (in the filmed performance) and he will always be my favorite male broadway actor.
Within the next hour I am buying Anthony's book, "Without You: A memoir of Love, Life, and the Musical RENT" it looks pretty freaking amazing!

anthony is amazing... the best mark (from rent) i've ever seen! Everything he does is unbelievable but rent is incredibly dear to my heart! i'm a RENThead! luv u anthony!
Glad to see the new website! I had the pleasure of talking to you in Cary, NC at Broadway Rocks for the Arts several years ago. You signed the RENT Anniversay at Studio 54 playbill for me and asked if I was at the show. I told you I wasn't and got the Playbill on eBay, but was able to get a bootleg of the show. You asked if I paid for it and I said I did. You asked that I tell the person who sold it to me that you didn't mind selling other RENT bootlegs, but that the Studio 54 show was for charity and should be shared without charge. I did relay the message to that person. Hopefully it stuck...? I do have some great pictures of you (and Daphne) from that night. They are not digital, but I was planning on getting them scanned so I could post them on FB. When I do get this done, and if you would like some posted here, feel free to let me know. I'd be happy to share.
I saw you guys opening night in Durham, NC but you had a really bad cold. I swear you broke my heart so much that I wanted to take you home and fill you up with chicken soup. The snow we had just had that day along with temps in the teens I'm sure didn't help with the stage door meet and greet. You are truly a trooper! That's why I have a picture with Adam. You were being bombarded and I hated to add to it - especially since I had already met you. I was amazed at how great you sounded that night after hearing you had a bad cold. I would have never guessed!
Without You also touched me as I had just lost my father with whom I was extremely close. The story of your mother parallelled my experience with my father. I am so sorry for your loss, including Jonathon. Without You is the best memoir I have ever read as it is straight from the heart. Never change that part of yourself. It makes you so special and I truly believe your honesty is what draws people to you.

I just saw RENT in Toronto and I'd just like to tell you that you were amazing. Your voice and acting was just incredible. Thank you so much for the autograph! Hope you come again soon so I can see it again!

Anthony Rapp is awesome. I was so sorry that I did not take advantage of seeing the play in NYC while I lived in N.J. I saw the movie so many times that I cannot even count. I am reading the book "Without you". Excellent reading. I cherish it. I would love to know if RENT will ever come to Virginia? It should. It would be a blast! Hope to see Anthony one day in the play RENT in VIrginia.

I'm not going to be like all the other comments on this page "OMG! I LOVE ANTHONY!" but I am going to say this:
Anthony, If you're reading this, It was a pleasure to meet you. I'm sorry I interrupted your dinner. Thank you so much for the autograph. I'm sorry I acted so awkwardly. I asked for a hug because I felt I needed one. And one from my hero... thank you. I relate to your book so much. I read it over and over again. It's fantabulous! (lol! i think you know where that's from.) Your voice is amazing! Visits to you is the most played on my itunes with 143 plays. Thank you for making such wonderful music. Thank you for writing such an amazing book. Your performances in Rent are amazing. Every time i see the show, I cry, I laugh, and mostly, im caught up in the show gawking at how amazing all of your voices are. I have so much I want to say to you and I'm angry at myself for not saying them when I met you. I understand that you were a little creeped out. But you really are my hero. my only hero. I do not use that word lightly. I look up to you more than anyone else. Anthony, i dont think you understand. I don't mean to be creepy or be obsessive because im not. I'm just telling you the truth. I look at you like a brother. It would be nice to have a conversation with you sometime. I'm sorry this is so long. I'm sorry I was awkward when we met. I'm sorry I fangirled. Please forgive me.
